In August of 1997, a reunion of sorts, had been planned. Those attending gathered their thoughts, self esteem, luggage, and some extra karus for a trip to the "Big Easy". We can tell you New Orleans was not ready for the likes of The Ankara Family but then who and/or what is? Reports from the scene of the event were broadcast daily from our roving reporter, the guy we drafted to make the reports. Those of us who did not attend were counting on these reports. They made us feel like we were there to enjoy our Ankara Family too. "Fellowship" was the buzzword. "Friendship" became the result.
